United Way, with the help of partner organizations and a number of musical artists, recently held a special two-hour concert and program that was broadcast across A&E Networks and 150 iHeart radio stations on November 20, 2015. The concert was put on as part of United Way’s Shining a Light initiative, which seeks to bring attention to racial inequality in America and provide tools to help communities address the issue.

Held at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, the concert featured a diverse lineup of artists, including Pharrell Williams, Bruce Springsteen, Ed Sheeran, and Aloe Blacc. In addition to providing an evening of entertainment, the artists helped raise funds for organizations and individuals who are working to promote racial justice.
