As the sales director for Abbott Laboratories, Inc., a global health care company with $22 billion in annual revenue, Zariq Siddiqui oversees sales operations, analytics, and training. He joined the company in 1999 and has held positions including senior manager of sales operations and strategy and nutrition products district sales manager. Outside of work, Zariq Siddiqui supports charitable causes such as Habitat for Humanity.

A global organization that builds houses throughout the United States and abroad, Habitat for Humanity holds events such as National Women Build Week. Partnering with Lowe’s, which provides volunteers and close to $2 million in support, the program invites women to donate their time and abilities in helping families work toward independence through safe, affordable housing. The event takes place in the week leading up to Mother’s Day and strives to highlight some of the home-ownership challenges women face. In its previous nine years of operation, the event has seen more than 98,000 women from all 50 states participate.
